Post: Mazdoor (Unskilled)
Pay Scale: 05 2250-55-2660-60-3200 (Plus DP 50% of Basic Pay & DA as per existing rates)
Total Post: Total – 10 (SC – 02 / OBC – 03 / General-05)
Reservation: - 2 Post reserved for Ex-Servicemen
Qualification: - Candidate should be 8th class passed and should be physically fit.
Age Limit: 18-25 Years as on last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC candidates and 3 years in case of OBC. Relaxation of age for Ex-Servicemen, Central Govt. Servant etc is as per the order issued by Central Govt. from time to time.
Test: The candidate is required to undergo running test and physical test as per laid down instruction and further interview by a board of officers.
Place of Posting: Selected candidate will generally by posted in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pardesh, Delhi and part of Rajasthan under jurisdiction of Chief Engineer South Western Command.
Medical & Citizenship: Candidate must be physically and mentally fit for duty anywhere in India in any climate and terrain. Candidates should be a bonafide citizen of India.
Application Form: The application in the given format on A4 size paper typed neatly in English duly filled in should be sent to Military Engineer Services, HQ Commander Works Engineers Bathinda, Opposite Cantt Police Station, Barnala Road Bathinda, Pin-151 004. Only attested copies of certificates and testimonials should be attached with the application. Original copies should not be attached OBC/SC certificates should be obtained from the prescribed authority. Top right hand corner to the envelope should clearly mention “APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT FOR THE POST OF MAZDOOR (USK). The applicants are required to send one self addressed envelop of size 220 mm x 100 mm duly affixed with postal stamp of Rs.24/-. Incomplete application shall be clearly rejected.
