The SERC invites applications from highly qualified and motivated candidate for the following positions:-

Post: SCIENTIST (Grade-IV), Pay Scale: Rs.13500/-. Post: 14 (SC-1 / OBC-4 / UR-8 / PH-1), Age: Not more then 40 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/PH as per govt. rules). Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Tech/B.E. in Structural Engineering. Experience: Candidate should be knowledge of advanced structural analysis and design.

Post: LABORATORY SUPERVISOR (Grade-III), Pay Scale: Rs.7000/-. Post: 01 (UR), Age: Not more then 28 years. Qualification: Candidate should be 3 year diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Supervisory and working experience in upkeep and maintenance of building including fitting and fixtures in various laboratories / buildings & general cleanliness.

Post: TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – Library Science (Grade-III), Pay Scale: Rs.7000/-. Post: 01 (Reserved for SC), Age: Not more then 33 years. Qualification: Bachelor degree in Science (Full time) or Bachelor degree in Library & Information Science. Experience: candidate with flair for writing in English and familiar with use of computers.

Post: TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – Mechanical Engineering (Grade-III), Pay Scale: Rs.7000/-. Post: 01 (Unreserved), Age: Not more then 28 years. Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree. Experience: Candidate should be higher experience related to installation, operation and maintenance of equipments and fabrication of testing setups in civil/structural engineering laboratories.

General Instruction:-
a) Relaxation in age is up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidate.
b) These posts are temporary but likely to be continued.
c) Application should be supported by attested copies of the certificates/testimonials relating to educational qualifications, date of birth & Caste Certificate.
d) Incomplete application or received after due date will not be considered.

Candidate should submit fees of Rs.100/- through DD in favour of I.R.F. SERC payable at Chennai towards application fees (No fees for SC/ST candidate)
